Beryl

Wow -- in the words of Chris Farley -- holy schnikies! Beryl is simply amazing -- it's a 3d desktop for Linux -- and the instructions that they gave for Debian were perfect -- and I must say, the effects are not only cool but useful -- they give a visual feedback for what's going on

For example, when you're dragging a window, it'll wobble it such that you know in which direction it's going -- that's amazing. The transparency is key as well, and to top all of that off, the cube feature -- simply amazing -- it really is "next gen" -- and for free -- I'm tempted, were it not for the games, to do just everything in Linux -- this is amazing!
