Linux - Spoofing a MAC Address

As listed in millions of places around the web, and how here too - very useful if you need to try and get down to that sort of a level when troubleshooting -

if we're talking about eth0

ifconfig eth0 down
ifconfig eth0 hw ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
ifconfig eth0 up

Using the Dremel 402 Mandrel

I don't know why I was quite so confused about this little mandrel - but in order to attach it, first unscrew the little top of the Mandrel, and then screw in your attachment!
